About $31,000 net per year for a single full-time worker after federal tax, 7.65% FICA and Arkansas income tax (top rate 3.70%). Use the calculator above for your exact figure.

At the same rates as regular hourly pay. Time-and-a-half raises gross pay, which can move part of your income into a higher Arkansas or federal bracket.

Methodology & Source

Arkansas state tax figures sourced from Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (https://www.dfa.arkansas.gov/), citing Top rate cut to 3.7% retroactive to 2026-01-01; standard deduction $2,470 single. Federal brackets, standard deductions (single/MFJ/HoH), and FICA constants sourced from the IRS (Revenue Procedure 2025-32; married-filing-jointly Additional Medicare threshold of $250,000 is a separate, unindexed statutory figure). Arkansas's married-filing-jointly and head-of-household figures are not yet independently verified and currently fall back to single-filer brackets — see the caveat in the formula section above.

This is an estimate based on standard single-filer federal, FICA, and AR state calculations. Actual withholding may differ based on your W-4 elections, pre-tax deductions, and other factors. Arkansas' low-income relief is baked into the 0% starter bracket rather than a separate standard deduction in this simplified model.
